For the third year in a row, Sovcomflot has been shortlisted for a Lloyd’s List Global Award, one of the most respected awards within the international shipping and maritime industry, the Company says in its press release.
This year, the company has been nominated for a Safety Award. According to Lloyd’s List, this award represents “an exceptional commitment to improving safety standards in the shipping industry.”

The nomination for Safety Award indicates that Sovcomflot remains an industry leader not only in terms of fleet size, as well as operational and financial performance, but also for its record in occupational health, safety, and environmental protection.
Previously, Sovcomflot has been shortlisted for the Lloyd’s List Deal of the Year Award two years in a row, both in 2014 and 2015.
The winners of the Lloyd’s List Global Awards 2016 will be announced at the ceremony at National Maritime Museum in Greenwich, London on 28 September 2016.
