Most facilities of Pella shipyard are completed (photo)

Presentation of Pella shipyard’s facilities which are under development in the Leningrad Region has been held at the Forum of Strategic Initiatives in Moscow, says press center of the Leningrad Region Government.

The opportunities of the new shipyard were appreciated by RF President Vladimir Putin.

Shipbuilding facilities of Pella are located in the Kirovsk District of the Leningrad Region. The shipyard is focused on modernization of domestic shipbuilding and renovation of the fishing fleet.

The project with RUB 3 bln of investments has been implemented with the support of the regional government and the Agency for Strategic Initiatives (ASI). Construction of most facilities has been completed. The shipyard is thus able to build 8-10 sea-going vessels of up to 110 meters in length and up to 6 meters in draught.
