Due to the fact that the Rhine River is facing a low water level (KWZ), which caused an increase of operational cost, MOL have applied a Low Water Surcharge as from 02 September, 2016 (barge Loading date).
For barge transports routed via the inland terminals located in: Duisburg, Dortmund, Neuss and Koln
For barge transports routed via the inland terminals located in: Mainz, Frankfurt, Mannheim, Ludwigshafen, Woerth, Stuttgart, Strassbourg and Basel
The Low Water Surcharge is applicable to all commodities and equipment types.
