In January-August 2016, the port of Primorsk handled 43,325,700 t of cargo (+12%, year-on-year). According to the port authority, crude oil transshipment climbed 16% to 33,763,300 t.
Transshipment of oil products declined by 1%, year-on-year, to 9,562,400 t.
Port Primorsk is Russia’s largest oil port in the Baltic Sea. It is the final stage of the Baltic Pipeline System (BPS).
