As of September 1, 2016, Yenisei River Shipping Company carried 3.20 mln t of cargo, +11% Y-o-Y and +14% against the plan.

Krasnoyarsk River Port OJSC and Lesosibirsky Port OJSC, subsidiaries of Yenisei River Shipping Company OJSC, also exceeded their results of the previous year.

In the 8-month period, Krasnoyarsk River Port OJSC handled about 600,000 t of cargo (+13% Y-o-Y and + 30% against the plan).

In the 8-month period, Lesosibirsky Port Cargo handled over 1.2 mln t (+25% Y-o-Y and +6% against the plan.

Yenisei River Shipping Company was established as a state enterprise in 1931, incorporated in 1994. YRSC is the main carrier of cargo along the water routes of the Yenisei Basin. The company’s fleet numbers some 650 vessels with total capacity of about 680,000 t. The company has shipbuilding and ship repair assets and a number of other business units. Major customer and the controlling shareholder of the company is Norilsk Nickel OJSC.

Krasnoyarsk River Port OJSC is among the largest river ports of Eastern Siberia and the largest cargo handling company in the Yenisei Basin.

The port is located at the crossroads of the Yenisei waterway (with an access to northern seaports) and the Trans-Siberian Railway, air routes and highways (federal highway Baikal-М53). The port’s key partners are Norilsk Nickel OJSC, Vankorneft CJSC, Yenisei River Shipping Company OJSC, Russian Railways OJSC.

Lesosibirsky Port OJSC is a subsidiary of Yenisei River Shipping Company OJSC. The company’s key function in the holding is to handle cargo flows in the basin of Middle Yenisei and Lower Priangarje.
