The General Rate Increase announced with CustomerInfo dated August 29, 2016 and scheduled for implementation on October 1, 2016 will now be postponed to October 15, 2016, Hapag-Lloyd said in its press release.
Therefore, from October 15, 2016 Hapag-Lloyd will increase rates for all cargoes and all container types from East Asia to Mexico, West Coast of Central America and West Coast of South America by:
USD 750 per 20' Container
USD 1500 per 40' Container
This GRI supersedes any previous GRI announcements for the same trade and time frame.
