Fincantieri gets new General Manager
The Board of Directors of FINCANTIERI S.p.A., chaired by Giampiero Massolo, met today and resolved, upon proposal of the Chief Executive Officer Giuseppe Bono, to appoint as General Manager of the Company Mr. Alberto Maestrini, already Deputy General Manager since February 2016, as well as Senior Executive Vice President Naval Vessels Business Unit of Fincantieri since January 2004.
The Board of Directors of Fincantieri and the Chief Executive Officer wish Mr. Maestrini all the best for the appointment and for the continuation of his work within the Company.
Based on the disclosures made to the Company and to the public, Mr. Maestrini holds directly n. 10,000 ordinary shares of Fincantieri.

Curriculum Vitae – Alberto Maestrini
Born in Genoa, Italy, in 1959, he graduated in Electronic Engineering in 1983.
Since February 2016 he has been Deputy General Manager of FINCANTIERI S.p.A., while since January 2004 he has served as Senior Executive Vice President of the Naval Vessels Business Unit. He serves on the Board of Directors of Marinette Marine Corporation, LLC as Inside Director.
His career began in 1985 at the Hirst Research Centre of the GEC Group, performing research in integrated circuit technology. From 1986 to 1996 he then worked for Marconi S.p.A. taking on the role of Access Systems Research and Development Manager for Italy and the U.K. From 1996 to 2001 he was Sales Manager, first for Western Europe and North America, then for Spain and Latin America. In 2001 he became Manager for the Access System Division product line for business in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). In the same year he was nominated CEO of Marconi S.p.A. In 2003 he became CEO of Telindus S.p.A., an Italian company belonging to the Belgium-based multinational Telindus, which operates in the design and manufacture of IT and telecommunications networks sector.
