On 20 September 2016, Nizhegorodsky Teplokhod Shipyard (ZNT Yard) launched two diving boats of Project 23040, РВК-1229 and РВК-1230 (Hulls No 1117 and No 1118), says the shipyard.
The vessels built for RF Ministry of Defence will be homeported in Severomorsk (Murmansk Region).
ZNT Yard OJSC established back in 1911 specializes in the construction of workboats and service ships, port equipment and marine engineering products. The company provides a complete package solutions – from designing to building and maintenance, refitting of different types of vessels. Between 2008 and 2016 ZNT Yard has built ten A160 Offshore DSV, (Customer: the Agency of Russian Maritime and River Transport); four icebreaking tugboats of TG04 and TG04M design (Customers: OJSC MMC Norilsk Nickel and Rosmorport); a suction dredger 1-516 (Customer: FSI Volga SBD); a buoy tender of Project BLV01 (Customer: Federal State Unitary Enterprise Rossmorport); two buoy tenders of Project BLV02 (Customer: RechVodPut), 16 inshore emergency response / salvage boats of Project 23040 (Customer: the Russian Ministry of Defense); SB02 pontoon pier (Customer: FBD Marine Rescue Service of Rosmorrechflot).
