Gazprom says Russia’s sales of LNG as bunker fuel will reach 1.35 mln t by 2030

Russia’s sales of LNG as bunker fuel will reach 1.35 mln t by 2030, IAA PortNews correspondent cites Vyacheslav Khakhalkin, Deputy Director General of Gazprom Gazomotornoye Toplivo, as saying at the International Gas Forum in Saint-Petersburg. According to his forecast, LNG bunker market will account for 27% of Russia’s total market of LNG.

Vyacheslav Khakhalkin says 90 vessels driven by LNG are in operation worldwide with 72 vessels to be put into operation by 2018.
