Passenger Port of Saint-Petersburg serviced 456,500 cruise passengers in navigation 2016, down 5%, y-o-y

Passenger Port of Saint-Petersburg «Marine Façade» PLC  says the number of cruise passengers handled at the port in navigation 2016 declined by 5%, y-o-y, to 456,500 persons. 209 ships called at the port in the cruise season 2016.

In the navigation period of 2017 the port is going to welcome 250 cruise ships and to service 543,000 passengers (+19%).

Passenger Port of Saint-Petersburg «Marine Façade» PLC is in the ownership of the city of St. Petersburg and is the largest passenger seaport in Russia. Construction of Marine Façade began in 2006. The port can accommodate cruise and ferry ships of up to 330 m long and with a draft of up to 8.8 m. The length and depth of new access channels - 10 km and 11 m, accordingly. The port operates seven piers. The quay-side length – 2,171.06 m.
