Throughput of port Kavkaz up 7% to 25.54 mln t in 10M’16

In January-October 2016, port Kavkaz handled 25,541,000 t (+7%, year-on-year), Harbour Master of port Kavkaz Yevgeny Tuzinkevich told IAA PortNews.

Off-harbour transshipment complex handled 9,243,000 t of export cargo (-22%, year-on-year).

Transshipment of oil products increased by 30% to 11,272,000 t, grain – by 23% to 4,138,000 t, sulphur and mineral fertilizers – by 66% to 2,701,000 t. Transshipment of LPG – down 10% to 139,000 t.

Exports from port Kavkaz fell by 46% to 368,000 t, imports – 5.4 times to 74,000 t. Transshipment of coastal trade cargo surged by 49% to 15,458,000 t.

Passenger turnover climbed by 25% to 5,484,297 passengers.

Bunker sales at the port declined by 16% to 397,000 t. 

The number of calls increased by 31% to 23,416 calls.
