Within the training year, surface ships and submarines have held more than 70 firings engaging aerial, naval, and coastal targets, says press center of RF Defence Ministry.
The ship crews carried out about 200 combat elements with artillery firing engaging targets, which had imitated aerial attack means, warships and coastal command and control centers of the simulated enemy.
Artillery units of the Pacific Fleet coastal defence troops held more than 50 tactic exercises with combat firing, more than 400 firing training and more than 100 fire control training during the training year.
The Pacific Fleet coastal defence formation has received the Bastion coastal missile complex.
