Flag hoisting ceremony held for Rosmorport’s new ships, Kadosh and Bata (photo)

FSUE Rosmorport says ceremonial hoisting of state flags was held onboard its two new ships on 2 December 2016 in the framework of the “Transport of Russia” exhibition in Moscow. 

In a videoconference format Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich announced the start of the ceremony for the dredging ship Kadosh moored in Tuapse and the workboat Bata in Temryuk.

The Kadosh is the last ship in the series of three dredgers of TSHD 1000 design built by Krasnoye Sormovo  shipyard to the order of FSUE Rosmorport.  The TSHD 1000 was designed by Damen Shipyards Gorinchem (Netherlands) and working design documentation was provided by Volga-Caspian Design Bureau (MNP Group, Russia).  

The Sommers and the Kronshlot, first two TSHD 1000 dredgers, have been put into operation in 2016.  The ships’ dredging equipment of high performance can operate in climate conditions of their regions of deployment.

The multi-task workboat Bata was built by Petrozavodsk, Karelia based Onezhsky Shipbuilding Ship Repair Yard (Onezhsky Shipyard) for the Azov-Black Sea Basin branch of FSUE Rosmorport. The ship’s project is developed by Design Bureau of “Marine Technics” Group and the share of equipment supplied by the Group constitutes 95 %. The vessel was designed for fast crew / families supply to large ships, transportation of cargo up to 0.5 tonnes. It can be operated as a pilot boat as well.
