IHC IQIP enables Swancor to install first two offshore wind turbines in Taiwan

IHC IQIP has enabled Swancor to install two monopiles, using the Hydrohammer S-2000, as the foundations for the first offshore wind turbines in Taiwan.

Jiangsu Longyuan Zhenhua Marine Engineering Co. Ltd. was awarded the installation of the foundations for the Formosa project in Taiwan.

IHC IQIP delivered the Hydrohammer S-2000 with 5.5m pile sleeve to the company.

The S-2000 was chosen as the perfect size of Hydrohammer for this project after close cooperation between all parties involved. IHC IQIP provided a comprehensive service to analyse the soil conditions and pile dimensions, and recommended the S-2000 as a result.
