Myanmar accedes to oil pollution treaty

IMO says Myanmar has become the 111th State to accede to the International Convention on Oil Pollution Preparedness, Response and Co-operation. The IMO treaty establishes measures for dealing with pollution incidents, either nationally or in cooperation with other countries. Mr. Kyaw Htin Lin, Minister Counsellor of the Embassy of Myanmar in the United Kingdom, deposited the instrument at IMO Headquarters in London on 15 December 2016.
