Throughput of Chinese ports up 3.1% to 7.43 bln t in 2016

In January-November 2016, the ports of China increased their throughput by 3.1%, year-on-year, to 7.43 bln t, says China’s National Bureau of Statistics. In the accounting period the ports of China handled 3.1 bln t of foreign cargo (+3.9%).

In November, throughput of Chinese ports grew by 6.9%, year-on-year, to 676.78 mln t.
