Freight traffic at Primorsky region, Russia based Port of Nakhodka between January and December 2016 increased by 9.4% year-on-year to 23,303,000 tonnes, the Primorsky Krai and Eastern Arctic Ports Authority told IAA PortNews.
In the reporting period handling of dry bulk cargo jumped by 18% to 16,656 million tonnes, while oil products volume decreased by 7.5% to 6,647,000 tonnes.
The Port of Nakhodka is located in the northern Bay of Nakhodka, Primorsky Krai, Russia. The year-round navigable port is connected via Trans-Siberian Railroad with the entire network of Russian and Western Europe’s railways.
