In January-December 2016, the port of Primorsk handled 64,428,600 t of cargo (+8%, year-on-year). According to the port authority, crude oil transshipment climbed by 12% to 50,679,100 t.
Transshipment of oil products declined by 5%, year-on-year, to 13,749,500 t.
Port Primorsk is Russia’s largest oil port in the Baltic Sea. It is the final stage of the Baltic Pipeline System (BPS).
