New orders for LaseLCPS in Q4 for totally 63 cranes

LASE says it has received orders for totally 63 LaseLCPS (Load Collision Prevention System) to be equipped with RTG, RMG and STS cranes in seven different ports worldwide. All systems, which have been ordered in Q4 of 2016, are to be delivered and implemented until the end of 2017.

The LaseLCPS - Load Collision Prevention System is set to provide more safety and enhance productivity for every crane operation, whether it is being utilized on RTG, RMG or STS cranes.  The specific version LaseLCPS-3D-2D also has been qualified for Performance Level D - Cat. 3 by the German BG (Employers' Liability Insurance Association) recently. Performance Levels to EN ISO 13849-1 define the reliability how a control system complies with safety functions and how it is protected against malfunctions. By reaching one of the highest parameters within the qualification process, the application LaseLCPS-3D-2D confirms its high development status and meets current requirements on Performance Levels in the port industry.
