Cruise liner Knyaz’ Vladimir set sail for test voyage (photo)
Six-day long test voyage of cruise liner Knyaz’ Vladimir started on 28 May 2017. According to press center of FSUE Rosmorport, the vessel’s route is Sochi-Novorossiysk-Yalta-Sevastopol. Then the liner will return to Sochi, its port of registration.
Rosmorport employees who take part in the test voyage are to evaluate operational readiness and comfort of the ship, cooperation of the hotel and restaurant personnel. At the working meetings the experts will share their opinions about the services provided by the cruise management. Special attention will be paid to coastal infrastructure involved in accepting and servicing the ship at each port of call on the route.
The works performed during the test voyage will let ensure safety and comfort of cruise passengers with regular service to begin on 11 June 2017.
Key characteristics of the cruise ship: length max – 141.8 m; width – 21.9 m; draft – 5.96 m; passenger cabins – 337; passengers – up to 940; crew – 250; decks – 9.
In pursuance of the instructions of RF President Vladimir Putin on revival of regular cruise services in the Black Sea region, FSUE Rosmorport established Black Sea Cruises LLC in January 2017. The company serves as a cruise operator.
