Scania engines have started work on ships of A40 2B YAR project

SPB Marine LLC says its experts successfully completed the commissioning and testing of four motor-reduction units based on Scania DI 16M engines and Twin Disc MGX 5136 A gearboxes mounted on the boom ships of the A40-2B JA project (hulls No. 163, 164). The ships were built by the order of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation and were named "Capitan Mishin" and " Alexander Sizoncev". According to results of the tests, failures were not identified, all systems works properly.
