The icebreaking fleet base located in Big Port St. Petersburg will be commissioned in the third quarter of 2017, the IAA PortNews correspondent reports citing a Rosmorrechflot official.
Deputy head of the Federal Agency for Maritime and River Transport of Russia (Rosmorrechflot) Nadezhda Zhikhareva speaking at a meeting of the Coordination Council for Development of the Transport system in St. Petersburg and Leningrad region said that investments in the project reached RUB 1.7 billion, including 1.2 billion rubles from federal budget and 500 million rubles of Rosmorport's own funds.
