Shareholders promote Boris Avdeyev to General Director, NSRY
The Extraordinary General Meeting of shareholders of Novorossiysk Shiprepair Yard (JSC NSRY) on August 9, 2017 terminated the authority of the single executive body, General Director of NSRY Alexander Brezhnev. The EGM also elected Boris Avdeyev as new General Director of NSRY, the NCSP Group said.
Boris Avdeyev between March and June 2017 was the director of the Construction Department, Novorossiysk Grain Terminal; in September 2016 through January 2017 – deputy head of the Customer of Major Construction of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation; from December 2014 through June 2016 - Director of the Directorate for Construction in the Far Eastern Federal District, Department for Presidential Affairs of the Russian Federation.
Previously, Boris Avdeyev held the positions of the leading engineer, at Directorate for the Construction and Reconstruction of Federal State Facilities of the Presidential Affairs Department, the head of the Risk Assessment and Investment Protection Department of the Institute of Economic Security, Advisor to the Minister of the Moscow City Government, head of the Department of Cultural Heritage of Moscow; Deputy Chief Engineer of the FSUE Directorate for the Construction and Reconstruction of Federal State Facilities of the Presidential Affairs Department.
Mr. Avdeyev graduated from Moscow State Open University and Moscow State Open University named after V. Chernomyrdin, majoring in Management and Economic, Industrial and Civil Engineering. He has PhD in Political Science, of Department of National and Federative Relations of the Russian Academy of National Economy and Public Service under the President of the Russian Federation.
