Marine Recruiting Agency increases professional level of workers employed in the southern ports of Russia

During summer months of 2017 “Marine Recruiting Agency, LLC” (MRA, the company of UCL Holding) has carried out several educational projects designed to train and increase the professional level of the workers employed at the terminals and ports of Azov-Black Sea basin, Sea Port of Saint-Petersburg says in a press release. 

MRA organized training courses in the ports of Novorossiysk, Sochi and Tuapse in five professions: “Longshoreman (mooring man)”, “Dockworker mechanic”, “Slingsman”, “Maintenance technician”, “Articulated crane driver”. Professional training of port workers was conducted in intra-extramural form with the use of modern distant learning technologies allowing to reduce timing and financial budgets of the Agency’s partners. The total number of the course participants exceeded 100 people, which is 16% more than in the summer of 2016. 

At the present time MRA’s training centre is going on with the project of professional training for crane drivers of Tuapse port. By the end of October 20 employees of JSC “Tuapse Sea Commercial Port” and “Tuapsehydrostroy” will have mastered the skills of operating articulated crane Mantsinen K-200 equipped with clamshells for discharge of coal from open-top railcars. MRA’s extensive realization of port workers training programme allows the stevedoring companies to save their resources and increase labour productivity. 

LLC “Marine Recruiting Agency” – recruiting company representing interests of transport logistic, construction and other companies of North-Western region in sphere of recruiting, training and provision of temporary personnel. MRA was established in 2001 and is a subsidiary company of JSC “Sea Port of Saint-Petersburg”. Since January 01, 2016 the company has been accredited by Federal Service on Labour and Employment for performing the activities related to provision of personnel. 

The Agency has its own Training Centre with its own technical infrastructure. Its functions are primary training, re-qualification and advanced training on the basis of various educational programmes.
