In January-August 2017, sea transport hub of Taganrog handled 1,781,700 t of cargo (+15.5%, year-on-year), the Azov Sea Ports Administration told IAA PortNews.

Exports grew by 15.2% to 1,219,300 t, imports – 3.5 times to 68,900 t, coastal trade cargo – by 6.2% to 493,500 t.
In the 8-month period, the Harbour Master’s office of port Taganrog registered 502 arrivals and 485 departures versus 439 arrivals and 421 departures in January-August 2016.
