Russia’s leading industry-focused media group PortNews has started working on a special edition of its journal which is to be published by the major event of the year, Transport Week - 2017
Every year the event gathers over 7,500 participants. Total number of Transport Week participants is about 10,000. Media Group PortNews is a general partner of one of the most important events in the industry –ХI International Exhibition “Transport of Russia” which will take place in Moscow on 2-8 December.
“In view of the scale and the format of one of Russia’s largest international industry-focused events, high level and high professionalism of the participants, we are striving to provide the most interesting and fine content in a dedicated edition of PortNews journal,” said Nadezhda Malysheva, Development Director of Media Group PortNews.
According to her, the key topic of the special issue is “The Ports of the Arctic and the Far East are the industry drivers”.
On the pages of the journal Rosmorrechflot management will tell about the development of ports and shipping, improvement of industry-specific laws and introduction of innovative technologies; Sovcomflot specialist will share their experience on introduction of state-of-the-art technologies for transportation of hydrocarbons; PortNews journalists will offer a detailed material about the construction of port Sabetta and an information & analytical material about the development of the Northern Sea Route.
The edition will also cover the most important issues of the transport industry: reforms of the control and supervising activities of RosMorRechNadzor, construction of LNG powered ships and development of the fleet of icebreakers, Ballast Water Management Convention and key trends of the bunkering market. Special attention will paid to environmental issues including introduction of green technologies into coal transshipment process.
