Okskaya Sudoverf JSC (part of UCL Holding) has completed this year’s programme on hull construction and production of components for the self-propelled pontoon PST-1 under the contract with the enterprise of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation - JSC "41 Central Plant of Railway Engineering". According to the shipyard, it supplied 50 sets of pontoon components and 70 hulls.
Okskaya Sudoverf has started production and delivery of hulls and components scheduled for the year of 2018.
In total, under the contract concluded in 2016, the Okskaya Sudoverf will supply 50 sets of sheet metal parts and 93 cases next year.
Okskaya Sudoverf is a modern shipbuilding enterprise as part of the VBTH division of the international transport group UCL Holding. The main activities of the enterprise are shipbuilding: oil-loading and dry-cargo medium-tonnage mixed vessels, container ships, special vessels, barges. In 2015, the Oka Shipyard became the second largest shipbuilding enterprise in Russia in terms of the total tonnage of constructed ships.
