Pella Shipyard delivers tugboat of project 90600, RB-393, to the state customer (photo)

Pella Shipyard (Leningrad Region) says acceptance/delivery certificate for the tugboat RB-393 (project 90600) has been signed and the tugboat has been delivered to the state customer.

The tugboat is intended for towing and berthing operations in harbor and coastal areas which comply with R3 navigation area, refloating of ships and vessels, assistance in ports, fire fighting operations at floating and shore objects.

Deck equipment:
bow anchor-towing-mooring winch Fluidmecanica with towing force 100 kN, providing 847 kN brakes keeping force;
towing hook SWL 470 kN with a quick release devise.

The tugboat is also equipped with crane-manipulator PC 2700M, Palfinger, with the capacity of 450 kg at the boom of 5 m.
In order to fulfill fire-fighting operations the tugboat is equipped with external fire fighting system made by FFS (capacity is 600 m3/h, 2 water foam monitors, water curtains system).

Pella Shipyard based in Russia’s Leningrad region was founded in 1950. The shipyard specializes in construction of state-of-the-art multi-functional sea-going ships. One of company’s priorities is to renovate the obsolete fishing fleet of Russia. The shipyard can simultaneously build at least 8 sea-going ships per year with length between 50 m and 100 м and draught of up to 6 m, including Arctic class ships.
