The Baltic Fleet detachment with the corvettes Boyky, Soobrazitelny and tanker Kola entered the military harbour of the city of Baltiysk after performing tasks in the North Atlantic, Mediterranean and Indian Ocean, says press center of RF Defence Ministry.
The warships and tanker have been making the 35 thousand nautical miles cruise for more than 90 days. They have made routine visits to the ports of Limassol (Cyprus), Djibouti (Republic of Djibouti), and Tartus (Syrian Arab Republic). At sea, the ship crews of the detachment have carried out a set of training missions, including exercises on anti-aircraft and anti-submarine defence, shipboard exercises and drills, as well as artillery firing.
The ships are technically sound and ready to perform assignes tasks after replenishing the necessary stocks.
