Dredging works commenced at the port of Ust-Luga

On 15 June 2018, dredging works commenced in the water area of Ust-Luga seaport as part of the project on developing the water area of the port’s Southern district, says press center od FSUE Rosmorport’s North-Western Basin Branch.

The works will be performed with the use of Rosmorport’s dredgers - TSHD Sommers and TSHD Kronshlot, иackhoe dredger Waka Nami Go and ыelf-propelled hopper barge Fort.

In the dredging season of 2018, the company is to excavate and dispose 420,000 cbm of material, The scope of dredging scheduled for 2018 – 2019 - 971,315 cbm of material.

In September-December 2018, the company will dredge 59,000 cbm of material to ensure design depth in the water area and on the access canal of Ust-Luga seaport.
