On 12 September, OOO Marine Recruiting Agency (MRA, a company of UCL Holding) launched its new education project in the Republic of Kazakhstan. It will be carried out as part of the Agency’s participation in the state employment programme initiated by Municipal Public Institution “New Impulse Center” (Aktau, Kazakhstan).
According to the press release of MRA, the project is focused on professional retraining of young people. It will let train 20 persons for operation at port terminals of Aktau.
The training will last for a month and will consist of two phases: a theoretical and a practical course. The theoretical course will be held at the premises of Caspian College “Bolashak” (the Republic of Kazakhstan), where specialists of MRA Training Center will offer a series of lectures on “dock engineer, slingsman”, “mooring man” and “talyman” jobs. Practical training will be arranged at the port of Aktau.
MRA Training Center has already had a positive experience of international cooperation in the region. In summer 2016, 30 persons were sent by “New Impulse Center” to Saint-Petersburg for retraining. All students obtained certificate of competence in port jobs.
OOO Marine Recruiting Agency is a recruiting company representing interests of transport logistic, construction and other companies of North-Western region in sphere of recruiting, training and provision of temporary personnel. MRA was established in 2001 and is a subsidiary AO Sea Port of Saint-Petersburg. From 2016 the company is accredited by Federal Service on Labour and Employment for performing the activities related to provision of personnel.
The Agency has its own Training Centre with its own technical infrastructure. Its functions are primary training, re-qualification and advanced training on the basis of various educational programmes.
Regional programme “New Impulse” contributes to transformation of the regional labour market, increases efficiency of make-work activities and improves labour mobility of population.
TOO Caspian College “Bolashak” is the first accredited college in the Mangistau region (Registered on 16.06.2014, IA №007). From 1997, the institution has been implementing educational activities offering secondary vocational education on more than 20 jobs including “Operation, maintenance and repair of handling/construction/road-building machinery and equipment”, “Maintenance of inland water ways”, “Operation of IWW and coastal ships”, “Operation of oil-and-gas fields”.
