From the beginning of 2018, Container terminal Saint-Petersburg CJSC (CTSP, a company of UCL Holding) allocated RUB 10.7 million (EUR 143,000) under its social and environmental programmes.
According to CTSP, the bulk of the amount, RUB 7.4 million (EUR 98,930), was spent for implementation of the Company’s social programme targeted at improvement of social and material position of the terminal employees. The programme covers compensations for medical services, health resort treatment, sports and additional payments to certain categories of employees.
In the reporting period, allocations for environmental activities aimed at environment protection and mitigation of negative impact on environment totaled RUB 3.3 million (EUR 44,117). Besides, permanent readiness of emergency response team is ensured at the terminal.
Container terminal Saint-Petersburg CJSC (CTSP, a company of UCL Port, stevedoring division of the international transportation group UCL Holding) is a modern facility specializing in handling of all types of container cargo, including refrigerated containers, oversize and hazardous cargoes. In 2017, container throughput at CTSP reached 643,700 TEUs.
