Strict compliance with regulations on transportation of dangerous cargo including explosives is vital for accident-free operation of seaborne and intermodal transport. A system to control safe transportation of dangerous cargo is being successfully applied in Russia. It complies with key provisions of international legislation in this sphere.
Specific features of this system applied to multimodal transportation of exported/imported dangerous cargo, control and supervision of operations with dangerous cargo as well as actual practice of transportation will be covered and discussed by the conference participants.
