In January-November 2018, CPC Marine Terminal in Novorossiysk (Krasnodar Territory) loaded 55.12 million tons of crude oil, up 10.5% Y-o-Y, says CPC statistics.
In November 2018, CPC-R loaded 5,154,067 gross tons of crude at the CPC-R Marine Terminal, which is 152,726 tons more year-on-year in November 2018.
Out of 5,154,067 tons lifted, 2,383,252 tons of crude oil were from the Tengiz field, 791,508 tons - from Karachaganak, 1,185,346 tons - from Kashagan and 251,580 tons - from other Kazakhstani producers. Russian Shippers exported 542,381 gross tons of crude through the CPC-R pipeline system in November.
Oil liftings at the CPC Marine Terminal for the period from 1 January till 30 November 2018 reached 55,129,037 gross tons. Out of that, 25,943,238 tons were received from Tengiz, 9,255,336 tons from Karachaganak and 11,895,999 from Kashagan. 503 tankers were loaded at the CPC Marine Terminal in January-October 2018, with 47 tankers loaded in November.
In total, from 2001 through 30 November 2018, 576,671,600 net tons of crude oil were delivered to world markets via the Tengiz-Novorossiysk pipeline system. Out of that, 501,831,321 tons of crude oil came from Kazakhstani Shippers and 74,840,279 tons of “black gold” were produced in Russia.
The CPC pipeline system is one of the largest investment projects with foreign capital in the energy sector in the CIS. The length of Tengiz-Novorossiysk pipeline is 1,511 km; more than two thirds of all export crude oil from Kazakhstan and crude oil from the Russian fields, including those in the Caspian Region, are transported by this route. CPC Marine Terminal is equipped with three Single Point Moorings (SPM) that allow to load tankers safely at a significant distance offshore, also in poor weather conditions.
