Rostov branch of Glavgosexpertiza (Russia’s Main Department of State Expertise) has approved the project on construction of protection structures at the port of Sochi.
Glavgosexpertiza says its experts have come to the conclusion that the results of engineering surveys and design documentation comply with the requirements of technical regulations and other established requirements.
The project will let ensure safe wave climate and safe moorage of ships in the port fleet’s water area.
The project will be financed by FSUE Rosmorport.
Sochi seaport built between 1936 and 1953 is a transport hub ensuring cargo and passenger transportation and servicing of ships. The port’s water area consists of a cruise harbor and an inner water areawith a yacht marina and berths for ships.
