Pertti Korhonen has been elected as the chair of the board of directors of Traffic Management Finland Oy, says Finland's Ministry of ransport and Communications.
He has chaired the board of directors of Air Navigation Services Oy and Finrail Oy and has served on the boards of several listed and high-growth companies. He has previously held the position of CEO in Outotec Oyj and Elektrobit Oyj as well as different management roles in Nokia Oyj.
Other members of the board of directors of Traffic Management Finland are Sauli Eloranta, Nina Kopola, Teemu Penttilä, Seija Turunen and Katriina Vainio.
Traffic Management Finland Oy is a special assignment company wholly owned by the state responsible for traffic control services in the maritime, railway and road transport sectors and for the related collection, management and use of data. The company will begin operating on 1 January 2019.
