Multinational company in the sphere of intelligent marine systems and technologies to be set up in Russia

A multinational company in the sphere of intelligent marine systems and technologies is to be set up in Russia for promotion of products and services of Russian innovative marine companies in the global market, IAA PortNews correspondent cites Aleksandr Pinsky, deputy head of the MariNet Working Group, as saying at the extended meeting of Marinet.  

According to him, the company is to be formed as an industrial cluster integrating several companies (there is an agreement with at least ten companies). A sustainable cooperation is supposed to be arranged within the cluster between its members. A half of investments required for the cluster development, creation of foreign centers and customizing of products for foreign consumers is to be financed by the state, primarily through the Ministry of Industry and Trade. The cluster will focus on marine robotics, innovative shipbuilding and digital technologies.

Preparations for the cluster establishment are to be completed in February 2019. 

The cluster hubs are to be set up in China, India, Middle East and Europe with representative offices to be opened in other regions of the world.
