Amid slowdown of ice formation in the water area of the port of Primorsk and in view of the ice forecast, restrictions on navigation in the port’s waters and at the approaches to it have been postponed from January 18 to January 25 (if ice thickness reaches 10-15 cm).
According to the order signed by the Port Harbour Master Igor Ishchenko, navigation of ATB units is not allowed while vessels without ice class are allowed to sail in and out the port only under the guidance of icebreakers; vessels of Ice1 category and above are allowed to sail in ice waters under the guidance of the icebreaker or independently on the permission and recommendations of the icebreaker.
