Nine dead in two ships fire accident in the Kerch Strait

Two Tanzania-flagged ships caught fire while tranferring LNG fuel in the Kerch Strait, the Russian Federal Agency for Maritime and River Transport (Rosmorrechflot) said on Monday.

The crew of the ships were India and Turkey nationals.

As of now nine sailors have been found dead with 14 others rescued at the scene.
