Throughput of Port Vysotsky up 10.7% to 7.89 million tonnes in 2018

In 2018, OOO Port Vysotsky handled 7,893,091 tonnes of cargo (+10.7%, year-on-year), the stevedore’s press center says.

In December, the company handled 846,115 tonnes of export coal. Average unloading of railcars - 355 per day. The record high result was registered in December - 429 railcars per day.

The company attributes its high performance to smooth cooperation with consignors and Russian Railways’s Oktyabrskaya branch. 

Port Vysotsky LLC (Port of Vysotsk, Leningrad Region) specializes in transshipment of Russian coal to the Western Europe. The port’s water area and the approach canal are 12.7 meters deep with the width of the canal totaling 200 metres. In 2017, the port handled 17,551,000 tonnes of cargo (+3%, year-on-year).
