This year, Vladivostok is going to obtain the status of a departure/return port – its citizens will be able to start cruises in their home city.
According to Konstantin Shestakov, Director of the Primorsky Territory Tourism Department, the growth in the number and quality of calls is a result of joint efforts of the stakeholders focused on promotion of the region’s tourism opportunities and improvement of infrastructure. According to him, the main phase of operations aimed to ensure design depth of Berths No1 and No2 was completed in December 2018. Thanks to this, Vladivostok will be able to welcome Royal Caribbean’ s ships in September 2019.
