Throughput of Rostov-on-Don port in Jan-Feb’19 grew by 12% Y-o-Y to 1.15 million tonnes

In January-February 2019, the port of Rostov-on-Don handed 1.15 million tonnes of cargo (+12%, year-on-year), the port told IAA PortNews.

In the reporting period, loading totaled 1.128 million tonnes.

In the reporting period, transshipment of grain accounted for 42.7% of the total throughput, oil products – for 22.2%, coal – for 16.3%.

The Harbour Master’s office says the number of calls totaled 548 units.
