Stormer Marine BV and SAFE Boats Int'l ink license agreement

Stormer Marine BV and SAFE Boats International have agreed to terms for licensing Stormer's high-quality workboat designs, bringing the portfolio to the United States, Safe Boats International said in a media release.

Stormer Marine is a Dutch shipyard located in Amsterdam that builds workboats for discerning professional clients worldwide. The Stormer team combines the Dutch Shipbuilding craft with the latest technologies in marine design, engineering, build and propulsion. Applications include: patrol, rescue, harbor duty, firefighting, surveillance, contracting, towing, survey and transportation services.

Stormer's portfolio of designs ranges from 4.5-meter center console, open workboats to 12-meter twing-enging, cabin workboats. The range includes center console and full cabin workboats with a variety of propulsion options: outboard, sterndrive, inboard or even waterjet in gasoline, diesel, electric, and hybrid drive. Vessel configurations can be modified with features such as push knees, bollards, winches, pumps and other specialized equipment.

SAFE and Stormer share a mission and culture dedicated to delivering tailor-made vessels that meet their customers’ specific applications.

Both companies are thrilled about the license agreement, and look forward to fully recognizing their mutual strength, culture, and approach.
