Hapag-Lloyd starts new service connecting Turkey and US East Coast – TNE Service
Hapag-Lloyd starts new Turkey North America East Coast Service (TNE) from April, the company said in its release.
The service will call 9-daily; Hapag-Lloyd will provide one out of five vessels.
New service offering direct connectivity between the Turkish Marmara Sea port of Izmit, Istanbul and Gemlik to the US ports of New York, Norfolk and Savannah. In addition, the service allows connectivity between Turkey and West Africa via transshipment in Algeciras. The service offers also an excellent connection between US East Coast and Alexandria, Egypt.
The first sailings will be as follows:
Westbound: MV Satie departing from Alexandria, Egypt on April 11, 2019
Eastbound: MV Satie departing from New York on May 6, 2019
