Ice-class buoy tender of Project 02780М, named Fortuna, joins Rosmorport’s fleet
New ice-class buoy tender of Project 02780М, named Fortuna, joins the fleet of Rosmorport’s North-Western Basin Branch, says the company.
Ice-class buoy tender Fortuna of Project 02780М built by Onezhsky Shipbuilding, Ship Repair Yard (Petrozavodsk, Republic of Karelia) in 2018 is the 13th buoy tender of Rosmorport’s North-Western Basin Branch and 62nd of the branch’s total fleet.
With its ice class the ship can operate in temperature conditions between -30°C and +35°C in brash ice of up to 20 cm thick.
The ship equipped with a crane with lifting capacity of 5 tonnes will be deployed for operation in the water area of port Kaliningrad.
The ship’s characteristics: class notation - КМ Ice3 R3-RSN AUT3, LOA – 22.2 m, BOA – 6.6 m, draught – ≈1.5 m, speed – 10 knots, crew/special personnel – 2/5, fuel endurance – 650 nautical miles, total capacity of main propulsion engines – 824 kW.
