More than RUB 4.1 billion of budget resources is to be invested in the project on reconstruction of Zhatai Shipyard in Yakutia. According to the draft decree of RF Government placed on the federal portal for legal information, total investments into the project are estimated at RUB 5.750.7 billion. Project documentation is to be approved by 1 November 2019. The reconstruction is to be completed in 2021.
A comprehensive investment project “Modernization and development of Russian facilities on construction of a state-of-the-art river fleet for inland water ways (Zhatai Shipyard)” is to ensure non-stop cargo traffic on inland water ways in the Lena Basin and the Arctic Zone of the Russian Federation (including the deliveries to the Far North) involving a fleet upgraded by a hi-tech Zhatai Shipyard in cooperation with other shipbuilding and machine building companies of the Russian Federation.
