2018 revenues of FSUE Rosmorport grew by 7% Y-o-Y to over RUB 26 billion

In 2018, FSUE Rosmorport revenues grew by 7%, year-on-year, to over RUB 26 billion including RUB 20.8 billion revenue from the company’s basic activities,  RUB 3.0 billion of rental revenue and RUB 3.1 billion of revenue from other activities. In 2018, the company’s credit rating for the first time achieved the general Russian level (ruААА) with a stable outlook. FSUE Rosmorport's 2018 results and 2019 prospects were announced at the final meeting of the company management and directors of Rosmorport brancjes held on 20 March 2019, the company says in a press release.

When speaking at the meeting, Andrei Lavrishchev, General Director of FSUE Rosmorport, emphasized positive dynamics of the company’s key performance indicators. 

In the reporting period, the company invested over RUB 8.5 billion of its own resources into modernization and construction of new port infrastructure.

In 2018, construction of ice barriers and facilities ensuring safe navigation was completed in Sabetta.  Construction of port protection structures was completed in Ust-Luga. Repair of a linkspan bridge was performed at the seaport of Kholmsk within the shortest possible period of time. Navigation services involving Rosmorport’s VTMS were provided to about 1 million of vessels. The number of pilotage operations performed by Rosmorport exceeded 180,000 tonnes. The scope of dredging works totaled some 8 million cbm.

Among the priorities of 2019 Andrey Lavrishchev mentioned the activities under the comprehensive plan for upgrading and expanding core infrastructure covering the period through 2024 and aimed at expansion of Russian seaports’ capacity.

In 2018, Rosmorrechflot established a Rosmorport-based project office intended for introduction of up-to-date methods to manage large-scale investment projects and administer the entities of the federal project “Sea Ports of Russia” included into the comprehensive plan for upgrading and expanding core infrastructure. The company will take part in 40 events focused on the development of maritime infrastructure facilities.

Special attention was paid to digitalization of Rosmorport’s business processes as a factor expected to boost the efficiency of activities.

A traditional award ceremony was held during the annual meeting. The awards were given to Rosmorport’s Arkhangelsk Branch – Best Branch of the Company; Pilotage Service of Arkhangelsk Branch – Best Pilotage Service of the Company; Astrakhan Branch VTMS – Best VTMS of the Company; Krasin icebreaker – Best Icebreaker of the Company; Koppi bildge water collector – Best Auxiliary Ship of the Company; Kuban-2 dredger – Best Dredging Ship of the Company.
