Sergey Karataev has been appointed General Director of Freight One JSC. According to the company’s statement, the decision made at the meeting of the Board of Directors is in line of the personnel strategy aimed at development of management potential UCL Holding comprising Freight One and large stevedoring and shipping assets.
Previous position of Sergey Karataev - Deputy General Director of Freight One from May 2018.
Prior to the recent appointment – First Deputy to General Director of Freight One following the position of Acting Vice-President, Finance, NMLK Group. Between 2012 and 2016 – Deputy General Director, Economics and Finance, Freight One following the position of Financial Director at T.A.Management. Before joining UCL Holding in 2011 had been holding leading position in Russian and international companies for more than 12 years (particularly in Russia based Rostselmash and Switzerland based Novartis International AG).
Sergey Karataev is a graduate of Financial Academy under the Russian Government, specialization - Banking and Finance. MBA decree (INSEAD, France). Ph.D. in Economics. Member of Freight One Board.
