Equinor and Faroe Petroleum have completed the series of transactions that were previously announced in December 2018, Equinor said in a media release.
As a result of these transactions Equinor has strengthened its operated position in the Njord area and remains operator and majority equity holder in Alve, while reducing its exposure to non-core and partner-operated assets.
Equinor, is an energy company developing oil, gas, wind and solar energy in more than 30 countries worldwide. The Company with a workforce of 20000 employees is the largest operator in Norway, one of the world’s largest offshore operators, and a growing force in renewables.
