Saint-Petersburg Government approves construction of cargo terminal for year-round ferry service
Saint-Petersburg Government has approved an agreement with Passenger Port of Saint-Petersburg JSC ("Marine Façade") on real estate development of a plot exceeding 328,000 square meters on the Neva Bay bank of the Vasiljevsky Island, says Investment Portal of Saint-Petersburg
The project foresees the construction of a customs inspection building for clearance of goods and building for production and technical staff.
With the completed reconstruction of a seaport’s checkpoint a year-round ferry service will become possible.
Investments into the project are expected to exceed RUB 200 million. The construction period and the agreement validity period is 36 months.
The project is to be implemented under the targeted programme of Saint-Petersburg “Implementation of an investment project on development of a passenger terminal on the Vasiljevsky Island of Saint-Petersburg”.
